Arin L. McConnell, a native of Port Stanley, Ontario, grew up appreciating Lake Erie and nearby forests and fields. Her love of all things natural can be seen in her art today: breathtaking blues, swirling greens, dazzling coppers and vibrant reds.
Arin is still inspired by nature at the family farm in Langton, Ontario, just north of Lake Erie, where she and her family raise dairy goats.
Arin creates abstract art, jewellery, resin abstract art and stained glass. Most recently, she launched Wearable Art by Arin, a line of simple but elegant colourful jewellery, each piece handcrafted and literally one of a kind.
Howard Thurman famously said “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who come alive” and for Arin art makes life come alive.
