Try your hand at the potter’s wheel in this one- time workshop!
These workshops are a great opportunity to see if this is your next hobby, or simply cross off your bucket list! You will be guided through making 2 cups or bowls. You will get the full experience of centering the clay, building the foundation of your pot to then stretch the sides and see how high you can get it!
The workshop is approximately 2 hours. Your pots will be finished and fired for you, in the colour of your choice, ready to be picked up within 4-6 weeks. They will be food safe, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe

Bird Feeder Workshop
$85 +tax

The warm months are finally here so let’s add something beautiful to your outdoor space!
Join us to create your own bird feeder for your backyard or patio and enjoy the beautiful birds that come to feast!
This workshop is approximately 2 hours in length. Using slabs of clay, templates, textures and colours participants will build their own bird feeder.
This is a beginner friendly workshop, with no previous experience needed. You will be guided through each step of the making process. So just bring yourself (or a buddy!) and enjoy the creative process.
Your feeder will be fired for you, in the colour of your choice. It will be ready for pickup within 4-6 weeks of the workshop date.

A 4-day Level Up Experience (7 person limit)
$750+tax
Dates: July 22 – 25
Time: 10am-4:30pm (each day)
Instructor: Angela Patterson
Workshop Description:
Over 4 days Zenfire Pottery owner, Angela Patterson, will level up your throwing game! Angela will provide live demos, give one to one support and advice, and help each participant meet their unique pottery goals.
Participants will play with clay and practice the following: throwing bigger, getting more out of your clay, creating multiples, mastering trimming to create lighter and more balanced pieces, and so much more. There will also be a surprise guest artist!
Creators will come back at a later date to glaze, or Angela can do it for you. Shipping of finished pieces is available for those who live out of town.

Clay & Art Camp
$495 +tax (8 person limit)
Our days will be balanced between pottery making and projects in other media. There will be a focus on non-traditional and recycled materials. A sketchbook will be provided and we will also practice sketchbook use and art journaling.
The day will consist of three working/creating blocks, with two nutrition breaks. Please bring a lunch and snacks, (nut free) as well as a refillable water bottle. Use of electronic devices is not permitted, even during break times.
Your teacher, Beth Turnbull, is a practicing professional potter and teacher with 20 years of experience teaching pottery and art to youth and adults.

Private bookings for 2-hour workshops
$85+ tax / person
- minimum 6 people
- maximum 14 (special arrangements may be made for over 14 people, just ask!)
- 2-hours includes instruction, materials, tools & firings
- 2 types of workshops include:
1) Potter’s wheel: have your “Ghost” moment, see if this is your next hobby, or simply cross it off your bucket list! Participants will create 2 bowls or cups.
or
2) Handbuilding: Build an object with slabs of clay, texture and coloured slips. Project examples include: mugs, beer steins, small platters, small serving bowls, citrus juicer, Christmas trees, holiday ornaments, etc.
- All pieces will be finished and fired for you, in the colour of your choice
- Pieces will be ready for pickup within 4-6 weeks of the workshop date
