Try your hand at the potter’s wheel in this one- time workshop!
These workshops are a great opportunity to see if this is your next hobby, or simply cross off your bucket list! You will be guided through making 2 cups or bowls. You will get the full experience of centering the clay, building the foundation of your pot to then stretch the sides and see how high you can get it!
The workshop is approximately 2 hours. Your pots will be finished and fired for you, in the colour of your choice, ready to be picked up within 4-6 weeks. They will be food safe, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Handbuilt Bird Feeder Workshop
$75 +tax

Spring is just around the corner! Add a one of a kind bird feeder to your backyard or patio and enjoy the beautiful birds that come to feast!
This workshop is approximately 2 hours in length. Using slabs of clay, templates, textures and colours participants will build their own bird feeder.
This is a beginner friendly workshop, with no previous experience needed. You will be guided through each step of the making process. So just bring yourself (or a buddy!) and enjoy the creative process.
Your feeder will be fired for you, in the colour of your choice. It will be ready for pickup within 4-6 weeks of the workshop date.

2-day Sculpture Workshop with Visiting Artist Dauma Stirbyte
$250 +tax
Dauma is a London (ON) based ceramic artist, represented by galleries across Canada. Born and raised in Lithuania, she moved to Ireland in 2007, graduating from the National College of Art and Design in 2016 with a BDes (Hons). She was an international artist in residence at the London Clay Art Centre (ON) from 2017 to 2020. In 2018 Dauma was named Best in Show at Fusion’s Emerging Artist exhibition and in 2022 she was selected as a finalist for the Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics. Her work features personal narratives, themes of nature and idioms.

Marbling Clay Workshop
$90+tax (8 Person Limit)

Description: Play with various clay types and learn how to create beautifully marbled clay pieces. Throughout this workshop Angela will provide live demonstrations showcasing various ways to create marbled patterns in clay.
We ask that you are comfortable centering at least 1 pound of clay and have the basics of throwing under your belt so we can maximize our experimenting.

Teen Pottery Workshops
$75+tax (8 person limit/workshop)

Description:
Join us for 1 or 2 days of clay creativity. Our incredible instructor will guide each participant through using the potter’s wheel, altering their pieces into new shapes, adding handles and clay slabs by sculpting and moulding, and decorating using various techniques.
These jam-packed workshops will be full of fun, laughter, and creativity. The instructor will work one on one with each maker’s skill level and vision, achieving their artistic goals.
There will be plenty of creative ideas provided, but we also encourage our students to come with ideas they love. We cannot wait to see what these creative teens make!
Students will choose their glaze colours and the Zenfire Pottery team will carefully finish each piece. Please allow 4-6 weeks for pottery pickup.

Adult & Kiddo Clay Workshop: Playing with Pinch Pots
$145+tax (for 2 people)

Workshop Description:
These 2 hour workshops will explore using pinch pots, slabs of clay, textures, and paints to create endless clay possibilities!
Adults and kiddos will be working on their own projects but will also be assisting each other as they create. Our amazing instructor will be present to provide demonstration, inspiration and one to one support.
Examples of finished projects include: a set of 3 nesting bowls, animals, insects, cartoon characters, and so much more!
***NOTE: 1 registration spot is for 1 adult and 1 kiddo (2 people total)***

A 4-day Level Up Experience (7 person limit)
$750+tax
Dates: July 22 – 25
Time: 10am-4:30pm (each day)

Workshop Description:
Over 4 days Zenfire Pottery owner, Angela Patterson, will level up your throwing game! Angela will provide live demos, give one to one support and advice, and help each participant meet their unique pottery goals.
Participants will play with clay and practice the following: throwing bigger, getting more out of your clay, creating multiples, mastering trimming to create lighter and more balanced pieces, and so much more. There will also be a surprise guest artist!
Creators will come back at a later date to glaze, or Angela can do it for you. Shipping of finished pieces is available for those who live out of town.
